Bridging the worlds of design and entertainment, Dio Living teamed up with media personality Raffi Ahmad’s RANS Entertainment to launch a limited-edition furniture line: the Nusantara Collection. This special collaboration was created to spotlight Indonesia’s rich cultural tapestry through affordable, design-driven pieces crafted for the modern home.
The Nusantara Collection was born out of a shared desire to celebrate Indonesian heritage in a way that speaks to today’s generation. Each item in the collection was curated by the team to serve as both a functional piece of furniture and a tribute to the country’s diverse traditions—translating local stories, materials, and aesthetics into a contemporary design language.
This collaboration extends beyond product design. In celebration of National Film Day on 30 March 2022, Dio Living and RANS has also launched the “Karya Film Anak Bangsa” short film competition with the theme “Aku dan Indonesia” (Me and Indonesia). Starting on 1 March 2022, the competition encouraged young filmmakers to reflect on personal and national identity, sparking a wave of creativity across the country.
For Raffi Ahmad, the partnership with Dio Living aligned with a larger vision. “Dio Living has a strong concept rooted in Nusantara and Indonesian culture. If RANS builds hotels or apartments in the future, we would proudly use Dio Living furniture—it’s a local product we stand behind,” he stated.
Produced in limited quantities, the collection was designed to be more accessible, making it easier for more Indonesians to bring cultural pride into their homes. The Nusantara Collection is not just a celebration of design—it’s a movement that honors the past while inspiring the future.
