On 26 June 2022, Dio Living partnered with Aydea Studio to host a Jesmonite Crafting Workshop at Sarinah—bringing together design lovers, local craft enthusiasts, and curious newcomers in a fun, tactile experience centered around creativity and community.
Participants had the opportunity to craft their own custom Jesmonite trays, learning step-by-step how to mix, pour, and finish this versatile design material. Known for its stone-like texture and eco-friendly composition, Jesmonite has become a favorite among modern makers—and in this workshop, guests explored how this material could beautifully complement Dio Living’s furniture collections.
Each participant went home with their handcrafted tray—an object that wasn’t just functional, but also personal and decorative. Designed in colorways and shapes that pair well with Dio Living’s pieces, the trays served as a perfect introduction to the brand’s design philosophy: blending local materials, practical elegance, and everyday beauty.
